Sound Engineering & Beat-Making

Two complete curricula — record and mix records that translate, or make beats that finish. Setup-first, grounded in the canon of working engineers and producers, and built on the stock plugins you already own. Two graduation tiers. One front door.

The full curriculum

Two tracks. One progression.

Sound Engineering teaches you to capture, shape, and finalize audio. Beat-Making teaches you to compose with sound from scratch. Each track stands on its own — but the engineering chops you build in Sound Engineering make every beat you produce sound better.

Graduation

Two tracks. Two tiers each.

Tier 1 is a peer-reviewed Certificate of Completion — proof you finished the curriculum. Tier 2 is a mentor-signed FTM-Certified credential with optional teaching authorization. Free The Music is not an accredited institution; these are not equivalent to degrees from Berklee, Full Sail, or SAE Institute. They are honest, earnable, portfolio-grade credentials.
