Co-Founder · Minister of Music

Producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a rare sensitivity for the pathway an artist needs to walk — from where they are now, to where their heart has been quietly calling them. His work is part craft, part listening, part naming what the soul has already been trying to say.

Who mentorship is for

If any of these sound like you — you're in the right place.

The aspiring songwriter

You have ideas but struggle to finish them — or you finish them and don't know if they're any good.

The song leader

You're the one people gather around when there's a guitar in the room — whether that's worship, kids, the campfire, or the kitchen. Your voice, playing, and songwriting could grow with real feedback.

The returning musician

You played seriously once, life happened, and you're finding your way back to the thing that makes you feel alive.

The late starter

You never thought you could be a musician, and something inside you is finally asking: what if I could?

The recovering "almost"

You've been "almost ready" to record, share, or perform for years. You're done waiting on yourself.

The seeker

Music is your prayer language. You want a community that sees that and can help you go deeper.

How it works

A simple rhythm, paced to your life.

No bootcamps. No drinking-from-a-firehose. A relationship, a practice, a path.

You apply

Fill out a short application below. Tell us where you are, what you're working on, and what you want to grow into.

Intro conversation

A free 30-minute call with Matteo or Katrina. No pressure, no sales — just a real chat about your music and whether we're a fit.

Personal plan

Together we build a practice rhythm that fits your life. Weekly or biweekly sessions, plus homework that actually moves the needle.

Keep going

3-month minimum encouraged so the work has time to take root. After that the membership is month-to-month — stay as long as it's helping, leave with skills, songs, and confidence you didn't have before.

Honest answers

Frequently asked questions

I'm a complete beginner. Is this really for me?

Yes. The FTM Instrument Lessons start from "I've never held a guitar before" and walk you through five clear phases. Your mentor meets you where you are — if you've never written a song, we start with the first one. If you've written a hundred, we sharpen them. There's no entry test, just a willingness to do the work.

What if I can't make the live calls?

Every weekly themed call and Open Mic Lounge night is recorded and posted in the community space. You can engage live when life allows, watch replays when it doesn't, and post your own work + questions in the channels at any time. The community runs on grace, not on attendance.

How is this different from Skillshare or YouTube?

Courses give you information. Mentorship gives you accountability, real-time feedback on your specific work, and a community walking the same path. Information is everywhere now — what's rare is someone watching what you are making and offering the next honest step.

What instruments do you mentor?

Voice is the through-line for everyone. Beyond that we cover guitar, ukulele, and piano in depth, with songwriting, performance, and production layered on top. If you play another instrument, our songwriting and theory work still applies; just bring it to your sessions.

Is there a minimum commitment? Can I cancel?

We strongly encourage a 3-month minimum — the work compounds, and three months is roughly when most mentees report the change becoming visible in their playing, voice, and confidence. After that, the membership is month-to-month with no contracts and no exit interrogation. Most of our mentees stay multiple seasons because the rhythm becomes part of their life — but the door is open both ways.

$150 is more than I can do right now. What are my options?

The donation-based structure means we have a sliding scale for those who need it. Tell us where you're at on your application and we'll work it out together. We don't want money to be the reason you don't get the support you need.
