4 days of Musical Education and Experience

October 17th-21st 2024

Come join us for our 5th Free The Music Immersion, this time located at Sacred Mountain Waters in Marshall, NC on October 17th – 21st! This will be a deep dive Community Music Experience for aspiring musicians of all levels. You will experience musical connection, inspiration, and education. We have an amazing team of facilitators ready to support and guide you in areas like vocal development, songwriting, free-styling, instrumentalism, music production, live looping, jamming and collaboration, music business, sound healing, vocal alchemy and embodiment, harmony, music theory, and more!

 We will be providing and including organic, nourishing food for you to enjoy. Beverages/elixrs and refreshments will also be provided. Feel free to let us know of any dietary requests so we can accommodate. A camping spot is also included. The land is spacious and truly special, with epic mountain trails. Bathrooms and showers are available for use,  plus hot tubs and a  sauna! There’s also a creek flowing through, a freshwater swimming pond, and a staton to fill up spring water to drink.

 Our activities and workshops will be taking place outside in nature, in the 3-story mountain lodge sanctuary, and around the fire in the evenings. We will have a full schedule of musical activities, workshops, and experiences for you to enjoy and choose from. The schedule will be announced soon, stay tuned!

Katrina Lilly

Katrina Lilly

Vocal Coach, Mentor
Katrina (Katt) Lilly is a vocal powerhouse and has been a full-time music maker for the last 8 years, and part-time musician for several years before that. In addition to being a singer/songwriter, performer, and recording artist, she is also a vocal coach/teacher and specializes in teaching vocal activation, confidence building, songwriting, and the art of singing harmony.
Mateo Maclean

Mateo Maclean

Producer, Composer, Mentor
Mateo is a talented singer/songwriter born and raised in Southern Africa. Finding his true passion for music at a young age, after high school he went on to study Sound Engineering and Performing Arts in Cape Town, South Africa. Over the course of 5 enriching years, Mateo absorbed the intricacies of music business, delved into the foundations of Music Theory, Majored in Vocals and Keyboard, learned several other instruments and received his Diploma in Mixing, Mastering and Production.

Producer and Mentor
Bloomurian is the electronic music & DJ project of Robin Liepman (Bloom), originally from California, and currently Colorado based. Bloomurian’s style ranges from Folktronica & World Bass to Psychedelic Bass, Organic House, DnB, and beyond, fusing face-melting, heart-opening, soul-awakening multidimensional frequencies. He has supported, produced for, and shared stages with many well-known artists like Deja Dova, Dirtwire, Equanimous, and more!
Sierra Marin

Performance Artist, Mentor
Coming from San Diego with deep roots in Hawaii, Sierra Marin is a quickly up and coming revolutionary artist, musical medicine woman and producer. Crossing Genres of reggae, hip hop and folk, Sierra’s music is rooted in catchy hooks and melodies and yet brings the listener to ecstatic states of healing gratitude and remembrance.Whether Performing as a live loop artist or Backed by the roots reggae band Roots Ascension, the music is a soundtrack for a new earth community on the rise, bringing to light the beauty of the journey in these potent times of transformation.
Brielle Aguila

Medicine Musician, Mentor
Along with intentional motherhood, children’s nature classes, permaculture work, foraging, herbalism & ceremony, Brielle Águila focuses her energy on channeling medicine music for the transmutation of pain into Strength and Inspiration for herself and the collective. The animal, plant, and fungi allies, along with the elements are her greatest teachers that she receives wisdom from. All of the pure aspects of Pachamama - all of our relations, inspire the teachings she aims to spread. The teachings of the sacredness of death and rebirth, the sacredness of the cycle and circle of life and of honoring all of life with respect are present in her prayers and walk of life. Her songs are a prayer to restore and reweave the web of life , to help us return to a life of reciprocity, humbleness and inner wholeness.
Rob Lenfestey

Rob Lenfestey

Producer, Composer, Mentor
Rob has been composing/producing music since he was 5 years old; and is a celebrated pianist, percussionist and multi-instrumentalist and composer; with music featured in documentaries, video channels and more. Rob has performed on stage since childhood, and toured professionally as a musician from the tender age of 20 years old. Rob has played on stage with a wide and colorful range of musical legends such as George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Ween, Burning Spear, The Wailers, Nick Petricca (Walk the Moon) members of Papadosio, Elephant Revival, Rising Appalchia, Tubby Love, Amber Lily, Paul Izak, Equanimous, Attya, and many more.

Our Venue: Sacred Mountain Waters

Sacred Mountain Waters is a Beautiful 200+ Acre Wellness Sanctuary in Marshall, NC – less than an hour from Asheville. The land has incredible nature trails, creek, freshwater springs, freshwater swimming pond,  hot tubs, sauna, farmhouse accommodations, and a huge newly finished 3 story mountain sanctuary/lodge with commercial kitchen, banquet room, gathering space/concert hall, and balcony with incredible mountain views. This place is truly special and each time we’ve gathered here, our hearts have opened to pure sacred magic all around.
